WILLIAM NASCIMENTO
Principal
William Nascimento, PE, SE has dedicated his 40-year career to project development in both the public and private sectors. In 1994, William founded a transportation civil engineering and project management firm, LAN Engineering, which he and a business partner grew to approximately 200 employees before being acquired by AECOM in 2009. From 2012 to 2024, William and two business partners grew another transportation civil engineering and PM firm, NCM Engineering, to 40 employees before being acquired by Kansas City-based Transystems (now GFT). In 2006, William and a business partner founded a construction materials testing firm to which William provided strategic and financial support over the course of its growth to 140 employees by the time it was acquired by Netherlands-based Kiwa in 2025. William has served and partnered with numerous public entities including cities, counties, and state agencies on projects across the West Coast and ranging in size from $1MM to $125MM. At LCG, William oversees all aspects of development and value-add pursuits including acquisitions, project vision, project programming, design, entitlement, construction management, and operations. William holds a Master of Real Estate Development from the University of Southern California, a Master of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering from California Polytechnic State University, Pomona.
DIETRICH NASCIMENTO
Principal
Dietrich Nascimento started his career as a CMBS lender at Prudential Financial (San Francisco) and Barclays Bank (New York) and as a CMBS investor at Nippon Life Global Investors Americas (New York). At Laguna Canyon Group, Dietrich performs origination of development and credit opportunities and asset management of existing investments, capitalizing on his experience in commercial real estate transactions, underwriting, financial structuring, loan enforcement, and operations. Dietrich holds a Master of Real Estate Development from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Real Estate and Finance from the University of San Diego and is a member of the USC Lusk Center for Real Estate.

Laguna Canyon Group actively pursues development and construction-intensive value add opportunities, leveraging capabilities in site selection, design, entitlement, and construction management. We see our tenants as partners, and we are committed to their success.
DISTRESSED CREDIT
Laguna Canyon Group has a demonstrated track record as a purchaser of sub and non-performing commercial real estate debt, emphasizing execution, responsiveness, discretion, and reliability as a counterparty to banks and other lending institutions.
TARGET MARKETS
With ongoing investments in Alabama, Arizona, California, Idaho, Illinois, New York, North Carolina, and Washington, Laguna Canyon Group is actively making equity and debt investments nationally.
